2017 HOF Results
The results are in! The 2017 GCCGL Hall of Fame inductee is Mike Big Donkey Harris. The reason the results are late is because the vote was EXTREMELY close once again this year. It was so close that the GCCGL commissioner’s office recruited the auditing firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, fresh off their Oscars debacle and desperately looking for work, to audit the results. We all spent three days and nights counting electronic chads in a 10 x 10 room at a secret location outside the Cincinnati area eating nothing but lukewarm white chili bean soup and drinking diet Mountain Dew. It wasn’t pretty nor sanitary, but it was necessary. Despite concerns that Russia somehow skewed the results, we are confident that the calculations are accurate. The season is almost upon us. We lost a lot of good people this season due to various reasons but have replace them all with new full-time members. I hope the newbies know what they are getting themselves into! We have a lot of nicknames to give out this season! Let’s welcome our new full-time members for the 2017 GCCGL season:

We also have several new substitutes as well. Check out the latest Members roster. The GCCGL draft will happen on March 31st. Co-commissioner Lip Gloss will be sending out information within the next few days. This season the “D” Players will be the designated captains and will choose the teams. I was supposed to draft this season but of course as luck would have it, my team has been selected for me. The last time I drafted was 2012 and my team, Never Question an 8!, finished solidly in 4th place so I’m OK with not drafting this season and leaving it up to the golf Gods.
To all our new full time members and substitutes, PLEASE save all your scorecards and turn them in to Kurt Lip Gloss Kreyling so that we can begin calculating a fair handicap for you. Trust me, it is much more enjoyable when your HC is accurate.
Finally, we hope you enjoy the newly redesigned GCCGL blog. We’ve incorporated as many stats as we could and believe that the statistics are accurate, however we realize that there could still be some discrepancies. So please report anything that you feel is not correct and our GCCGL IT department and statisticians will review and correct it.
