Kreyling Korner – Week #17 – 08-14-14

THE LIPSMACKER MATCH OF THE WEEK

Week 17 - MOW

Tonight marks the last match play week of the year…which means this is the last MOW for the 2014 season. Who to choose? We could go with some of the obvious choices  Harris vs. Cook or Bloomhuff vs. Eiser because both Boot Boy and the Big Donkey are battling for the points title. However, Joe will talk about those matches enough tonight we don’t need to give them more attention here.

The last MOW of the year goes to Jason “Cupcake” Nill and Chris “#2” Meyer. Cupcake and the Putt Pirates have slipped into 5th place and are trying to play the role of spoiler as #2 and Schmuck Dynasty desperately try to make up ground on the first place team before the end of the season scramble. For two “regulars” of the GCCGL, I was surprised to learn they have only matched up twice, with Nill claiming victory in both.

While the golf will be exciting, I’m anxious to hear about this group’s conversations. Meyer recently welcomed his fourth son into the world (congrats to Chris and his family). Jason himself has 3 kids. The difference between Jason and Chris – Jason figured out how to use the miracle of medical technology to stop reproducing. Add Rayburn to the group (who has like 6 kids) and I’m pretty sure Meyer will be asking Jason for his doctor’s card walking up the 18th fairway.
