THE LIPSMACKER MATCH OF THE WEEK

It has been far too long my friends.  Lip-Gloss is back in week 10, albeit only with a MOW.  I spent a lot of this week getting caught up from vacation so I didn’t have a chance to be creative and stuff.  Reminder to the GCCGL – I’m 3-2 on the season because George sucks.  I think that might be a new tag line for the Kreyling Korner.  #georgesucks

WEEK 10 MOW – Allen “Cletus” Bloomhuff vs. Oliver “Ollie” Livermore

Ladies and gentlemen…we officially have the battle of the old guys!  *In my best Michael Buffer voice* Let’s get ready to eat dinner at 5:00!!!    Ollie and Cletus are the only two guys that tee off from the yellow tees AND yell at kids for being in their front yards.  I’d also like to point out that this the second MOW in a row with a 20-year-old birthdate as these two first locked walkers in 2003.  Overall, Ollie holds the advantage at 4-5 but it’s interesting to note the last Cletus/Ollie match was 5 years ago in 2018 with Livermore claiming the victory.  Does this mean anything?  Probably not…but they are still old. 

GLOSSY PREDICTION – Decisions, decisions.  Both Cletus and Ollie are 9 handicaps so no advantage there.  Lifetime, Cletus shoots an average net score of 38.5 on the Pioneer back; lifetime Ollie shoots and average net score of 38.0. Damn it!!!!  Here we are again.  The stats fly directly in the face of what my gut says.  Let’s look out a little deeper.  I’m throwing out years 2017 to 2022 when Allen was a sub.  As a full time member from 2001 to 2016, Bloomhuff shot an average net of 37.9.  Aside from being a true finance dude and scewing the numbers to what I want, I’ll tell you one more thing.  I bet against Allen once…I won’t do it again.  Cletus wins – 7-3.  #georgesucks
