Kreyling Korner – Week #2 – 05-01-14
Match of the Week
Back by popular demand….the LIPSMACKER match of the week! Seriously I was surprised by the level of interest in this poorly written post. But low and behold, the GCCGL has spoken….and they want match-ups and fashion tips.
The first LipSmacker match of the week is a no brainer. Danny “Snoodle” Roller versus Mike “Big Donkey” Harris. These two have matched up 14 times dating back to 2007. Surprisingly – Snoodle actually has the upper hand over the Donkey as the series stands at 9-4-1. Don’t get me wrong – Danny is a great golfer and is consistently one of the top performers in the league. But Big Donkey has been the league MVP for years and has 6 championships. Danny must have some sort of “Syndrome” mind game working on Mike because it doesn’t make sense that the series would be so lopsided.
Lip-Gloss Prediction – Big Donkey wins this one running away 7-3. This series is bound to even out, and Danny admittedly hasn’t played much this year.
The Kreyling Korner
I know everyone is looking for a fashion tip…but seriously I can’t do that for 18 weeks again this year. There are only so many tips you can make regarding Allen wearing a cell phone on his belt (which he still does) and white belts (a trend which all golf fashion experts believe is going out of style….except this one). So, we are going to switch it up this year. In this section (cleverly titled The Kreyling Korner) I’m going to write about anything that comes to mind. This week I think we should play “would you rather?”
Look at the feathered locks above of Jon Bon Jovi. Reminds me of our very own…Oliver Livermore, who has inspired the following question: Would you rather have a hair line like Oliver Livermore….or….George Almeida?
Now, one would think – I know what Lip-Gloss is going to pick. He’s bald, obviously he wants hair. To be perfectly honest, I don’t remember what it was like to have hair…and quite frankly, I don’t want to remember. I have spent exactly 0 minutes styling and/or worrying about my hair in the last 10 years. I’m sticking with my follicly challenged brother and I believe George would echo my sentiments when I say – once you go bald…you never go back. And it starts growing in weird places…
Feel free to chime in with your opinion on this weeks “would your rather?”
