Prince Albert Chronicles – Time to Pull Away
Since I didn’t update the blog last week, there was no Week 7 email from the Prince. However, I have the email from week 6 which is very interesting indeed. it’s a wager. Read the email. If this wager is on, then the entire GCCGL should show up at this poetry reading when it’s time for the loser to present their poem. And you can bet your ass there will be plenty of video during this event.
Week 6 was the Stableford Scramble and Cletus’ team won even though he brought in a ringer who filled out score cards, in pen, with his name as the only name on the card. Suspicious? Yes? Hi-jinks? Maybe. Either way, the substitution was deemed legal therefore the point goes to Cletus.
Week 7 was really tough. On one hand, Scratch saved his team from losing BIG by shooting low net and taking 8 points. On the other hand, Prince also won low net AND his team won their team match. Tough one…… OK I’ve given this a lot of thought (about 3 1/2 seconds). Week 7 goes to Prince Albert. We’re all caught up now!
