KREYLING KORNER – WEEK #4 – 05-14-15
First and foremost, sorry about last week KK fans. I wasn’t myself last week…it’s not you, it was me. But thanks for caring. I’m back and ready for week 4.
THE LIPSMACKER MATCH OF THE WEEK
It’s Pot-Luck week which means A/Bs play C/Ds (which I’m sure everyone knows). This week always makes for some interesting match-ups. Two match-ups for the 2015 edition of the Pot-Luck stand out.
First – Seth Brooks (needs a nickname) takes on Joe “Boot Boy” Eiser. As I said earlier, the A/Bs play the C/Ds. Ironically enough, Joe and Seth have the exact same handicap – Joe being the highest B handicap and Seth the lowest C handicap. Aside from how evenly matched these two are, both these teams could use the win even though it is only week 4. Daddy Day Care (Seth’s team) has taken the early season lead while the Offensive Line (Joe’s team) is squarely in third place. I’m picking Seth in this battle 6.5 – 3.5. I’ve had the pleasure of playing with both these gentlemen in week 2 and 3 of the season, and at this point, I think Seth is poised for the victory.
As good as Brooks vs. Eiser will be, it should come as no surprise that Jason “Cupcake” Nill versus the LG is this week’s MOW. You want drama – this match has drama!
This is a dream battle like Mayweather vs. Pacquiao – except without the talent.
This is a struggle for power as a co-commissioner takes on co-commissioner, like the Cold War – except without the national power and nuclear weapons.
This is a battle of good looking vs. incredibly good looking , like Derek Zoolander versus Hansel except…actually it’s exactly like a male model show down.
I have to give Nill 6 strokes, which is going to be a lot to overcome. I’ll let the league decide this match – it’s too close to call.

You know what every professional tour player has? They have an endorsement on their golf bag. Which made me think – what bag endorsements could we see in the GCCGL. Here are a few I think would work:
Nick “Potter” Duer – Unicorn Meat
We all know Nick is a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and movies. Word around the league is Potter has an extensive collection of Harry Potter magic wands. And we all know how much Nick likes to play with a magic wand. It only makes sense that he would endorse canned meat of a mythical creature.
Greg Szylakowski – Hooked On Phonics
Everyone say it with me: Sil-a-cow-ski Again Sil-a-cow-ski
Danny “Snoodles” Roller – Pepper Spray
I’m not sure if everyone is aware, but Danny “Snoodles” Roller is one of the best basketball coaches for teenage girls in the Northern Kentucky area. That being said, it would only make sense that he would endorse a product that would protect young women from strange and creepy…coac…ehhh…men. Strange and creepy men.
